From the pull down menu select "Single AWB".
This function allows you to work on a single AWB and provides the following functions:
This function is invoked by selecting the top bar function "Accounting".
From the pull down menu select "Single AWB".
The input menu provides you with the choice of working with an existing AWB or to create a new one.
To create a new AWB just press the "Enter Key" without inputting a AWB number.
If you input an AWB number the database will be searched and if the AWB exists it will be displayed. If it is not located a warning panel will be displayed.
In this example the user has decided to create a new AWB and is presented with a blank AWB data input panel.
The user inputs the "Shipper's Account Number" and presses the Enter Key.
The database will be searched for the Shipper's Account Number and if it is located, the Shipper's data is read from the database and placed on the panel. If the Shipper's data is found and read from the database the cursor is moved to input the "Cosignee's Account Number". If the Shipper's Data was not found in the database the cursor would have been placed on the Shipper's Name field so that the Shipper's data could be manually input.
The ability to look up existing data is also provide for:
The user inputs the reset of the required date.
The fields:
are automatically calculated by the accounting program.
When data is manually input all fields are check to insure that data has been input, that the data is reasonable and that the date field are acceptable dates.
To delete and AWB the function key F6 is depressed.
The function key F2 will perform a reconciliation on the data contained in the currently displayed AWB.
