To sign-on to The Airline Cargo Accounting System, you must have an authorization (sign-on) code. This code is maintained by the system administrator and a unique code is given to each employee that has a need to access the accounting system.
When the system administrator assigns an authorization code to an employee, a profile is filled out. The profile includes a security level code. The security level assigned is 0 to 99 with 0 being the highest level possible and 99 being the lowest.
Access to sensitive applications requires a pre-defined security level. This allows managers to access sensitive information while employees cannot.
